“The 999Bottle is not just another water bottle. It is a beautifully designed system that helps you track and visualize the positive impact you can have on the environment by drinking from re-usable bottles instead of disposable ones.
The stainless steel bottle features a clever three numbered dial along its length to help you track of how many times you re-use it. Each time you refill, simply advance the dial one notch. The numbers steadily add up!
An accompanying iPhone app tells you what the numbers mean, giving context to your conservation through insightful visuals that graphically depict and share the impact of your efforts.”

Oh my! How beautiful is this piece of product design!
The XD solar charger features a sticky pad around its solar panel so it can be attached to a window to recharge your device’s battery. It is powerful enough to recharge a 1400mAh battery - Eco-friendly, user-friendly and not too bad on the eyes either.

‘Mister T’ designed by Antoine Lesur.
I’m all about saving space, and this innovative product by Antoine Lesur is just that. Not only is it modern, sleek and aesthetically pleasing, it is completely functional. ‘Mister T’ can be used in multiple different ways to suit anyones needs.
“Mister T is an occasional furniture composed of a basket, a tray and two cushions. It was conceived to offer several basic functionalities in one product, without the arrogance of a modularity. MISTER T is neither a coffee table, nor a chair, nor a footrest, but a little of each.”

IdeaPaint
Designed by ideapaint
“When you’re confined to the space of a typical whiteboard, your ideas are destined to be small. IdeaPaint turns virtually anything you can paint into a high-performance dry-erase surface, giving you the space you need to collaborate, interact and fully explore your creativity. No matter where you use it, big ideas follow.”

I always wanted one of my walls to be a chalk board, but I dread the cleaning up after erasing and all the chalk dust.. I guess this solves my problem :)

Functionality is really important to me when it comes to product design. You can make anything beautiful, but if it doesn’t function easily or properly it’s just not going to sell.
So here is to the designers who are able to make something not only visually striking but also functional.
